Printer Policies for Printers in the Learner.VSFC container

• Launch ConsoleOne.
• Browse to the Workstations.VSFC container. Find a blank area by scrolling to the right.
• Right click and select New followed by Object
• The New Object window will be displayed, scroll down and select Policy Package, click OK
• The Policy Package Wizard will load. Select Workstation Package, the small window to the right will fill with varios items. Scroll down and select NT Computer Printer. Click Next
• Name the policy using the common name of the printer followed by "policy". EG: pr-room 26.learner.vsfc would be "PR-Room 26 Policy". Click Next
• Tick Define Additional Properties, and click Finish
• Find the policy object you just created and double click it. Click on the Policies tab and select WinNT-200-XP from the menu.
• Tick the box next to NT Computer Printer and then click Properties
• A new window will open, click prt Printer Entries and then the Add button. Find the printer you are making the policy for and double click it. The printer should now be displayed under the Installed NetWare Printers heading.
• Click the Policy Schedule tab. Select Event from the drop down list. A new drop down list will appear below it. Set this one to System Startup. Click OK and you should see the properties window for the policy still open
• Click the Associations tab, click Add browse for and select the workstations you want this policy to apply to. Click OK when you are finished
