Resource 32000 LAD Import

• Download the LAD from the LSC Website (This will be the latest version and will need to include all teaching years)

• Place the LAD in q:\LSC\LAD (Extract here)

• Backup old LAD to ZIP/RAR file and leave in directory

• Rename newley extracted .mdb file to "LAD.mdb"

• Run Resource 32000 on Zeus (Shortcut on Desktop)

• In menu "Programme Management" > "LAD" > "IMPORT" select "LAD - Learning Aim Database"

• Select (Tick) all boxes

• Click on "IMPORT" button

(Wait for Process to complete)

(*) There must be an ODBC connection on the server called LAD pointing to the LAD.mdb database as Resource will look for a DSN called lad to perform the import.

(**)This DSN can be setup on another machine if anyone other than IS Staff need to perform the Import.

(***) Check with Registry Manager or MIS Data Manager for testing.

AFTER ANY UPGRADE CHECK THAT THE BROMCOM OUTPUTS THE "LMSCODE" NOT "Tutor Code"
