LSC Lad Import Process

• Download LAD from LSC website, you will need to select the "All teaching years" version.

• Place the LAD in Q:\LSC\LAD and extract it here.

• Backup the old LAD.mdb file to a zip or rar file and leave in directory.

• Rename freshly extracted Lad file to LAD.mdb

• Run Resource on Zeus (Shortcut on Desktop)

• In the menu "Programme Management" > "LAD" > "Import" Select "LAD - Learning Aim Database"

• Select all the tick boxes

• Click on "Import" and wait for the process to complete.

(*) There must be an ODBC connection on the server called "LAD" pointing to the LAD.mdb database. Resource will look for a DSN called "LAD" to perform the import.

(*) Check with the MIS Data Manager for testing.
